Wyile O’Klee is the patriarch of the Smoky Mountain Clan of the Appalachian Wyiles and as such has held the title of “Premier Cider Maker” in all of the Smoky Mountains from Georgia to Virginia. He has developed more varieties and flavors of ciders than any other Wyile in these here parts. While he is quite modest about this prestigious position he takes the responsibility very seriously. Every cider recipe that is conceived by any other Wyile must first be taste tested by O’Klee and his wife Tulip before the cider can be produced for human consumption. The folks at Wyile Cidery in Sevierville, TN are very honored and proud to have sole access to the secret Wyile cider recipes, and we take our job seriously too. Here is O'Klee after tasting a bunch of his cranberry cider.
